It gives me immense pride and pleasure to lead the Science Department of this esteemed and prestigious institution. Science is the front runner because of its recognition and adoption by academia, thereby gaining self-confidence of our students to compete successfully with all competitive disciplines. It imparts quality education in multifarious disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Engineering, etc. along with generation, transmission and distribution of the technological advances and a set of subjects specially focusing on the performance and design of special machines. Our Department consists of various laboratories equipped with the new technological set ups giving the scope to all students having a hands on experience individually, which will increase their confidence to face the practical problems in the field of Science and Technology.

Apart from the regular curriculum the department strives to develop the students into intellectual prodigy .The department conducts various programs under the departmental association such as Workshops, Technical Training, Science Exhibitions, Project work, Guest Lectures and Seminar by Experts from science  background for constant knowledge up-gradation of staff and students. 

We continue to play a leading role in our discipline which leads us towards creating innovative and effective professional vivacious student community  and provide continuous learning. I extend my warm wishes to all budding Scientists.
